| In1959,
the Bills were the seventh team selected to play if the
next year in the first season of the American football
league. They took their names from the above flow football

Gilchrist became the first AF L. player to Russia for
1000 yards in a season in 1962. The the Bills won back

to play Green Bay in the first Super Bowl. In the early
and mid 1970s 00 was one of the greatest running teams
of full-time, as O.J. Simpson became the first player
to rush for 2000 yards in his season and the Bills the
