the Rams were founded in 1973 in Cleveland, Ohio. Homer Marsh men, the original owner, sold the Rams to Daniel F. Reeves and Fred Levy in 1941. the clubs suspended operations for one year (1943) during World War II, but came back two years later to win the NFL title. The next year's reuse moved his club to Los Angeles, where it became the first NFL team located on the West Coast. During the early 1950s, the Rams were loaded with talent, and many experts still think they were the best offensive called ever assembled. The Rams have always been known for their innovative coaches, including Clark Shaughnessy, hamp pool, Sid Gilman, and George Allen. They have had one of the greatest- and most successful coaches in each of the last three decades: Allen and the 1960s, Chuck Knox in the 1970s, and John Robinson in the 1980s.
